Netflix - Farewell to DVDs 
Music + Sound Design + Mix

After a remarkable 25-year run, Netflix set out to commemorate its DVD subscription
service by paying tribute to the brand's origins in the pre-streaming era with a film following
the journey of the iconic red envelope.

We used sound design to emphasize the mechanical (and nostalgic) aspects of ordering,
sorting and shipping a DVD. By incorporating tones captured from the sorting facility in
Los Angeles, our sound design evolves into a cover of Blink-182's aptly titled
"All The Small Things"—a classic hit released the same year Netflix launched its
DVD subscription service.
